The Association for Sustainable Community Development (ASSCOD) is a non-governmental organisation working for economic development in the rural districts of Kancheepuram and Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu, India. They work mainly with women and families who are vulnerable to poverty, social injustice, illiteracy and poor health. Since its formation in 1994, ASSCOD has focused its efforts on promoting social and economic development, especially through the empowerment of women.

Their main approach has been centered around the concept of Self-Help - organizing women into small groups, encouraging micro-savings and credit, and imparting skills and awareness training to its beneficiaries.
