Sumitra Jena, 46 years old from Police Line village, Orissa; has been involved in milk business for the past 3 years. Sumitra requires more investment to increase her income. Sumitra sells milk, while her husband Nityananda does not work due to health problem. Her son Rabindra grows betel farming in his own farm to eke out a living. The loans from Rang De helped Sumitra to start her venture and then strengthening her business. She has successfully repaid the loans and now seeks a Second cycle loan of Rs.10,000. The loan will enable her to purchase one more cow for her venture. She has two cows at present and the coming of another cow would boost the milk yield and thus income. The couple's only son started working after passed out from high school. Sumitra wants to upscale her business by investing the proposed second cycle loan.
