Umamani does her purchasing from the local wholesaler and sell them in her village for a profit. Umamani has the rich experience in buying and selling of daily consumable goods. She is able to earn Rs. 1,500 per month from this business. She needs to upgrade her business and believes that a loan of Rs.10,000 would help her in a big way. Apart from purchasing the stationery items she can also make some advance payments to the dealers so that they do not stop the supply of their products. The couple has two children studying in high schools.
