| Ranjana Apparao used to manage her snacks business in addition to managing her cows. She availed the loan to manage her snacks business but had to discontinue it after a while. She had to take this tough call because of the rising prices of lentil which was the main ingredient of her snacks.Ranjana is now left with just her cows and income from the sale of milk to support her family. Her husband works as a driver and her 2 sons have just started to fend for themselves.Despite the downside of her business Ranjana has not stopped planning for a better future. She hopes to invest in goats which will come in handy at times of need and emergencies. |

| For the last one year Ranjana has has been rearing a buffalo and selling the milk for an income. She would like to start a new venture making and selling snacks as she feels that it will be more profitable.The loan will allow her to buy the ingredients and other supplies that she needs in bulk and get started. She hopes that she will be able to support her husband and sons, who work as labourers better. |
