New Life is an Ngo based in Trichy and is involved in many projects. One of their biggest success stories is the Affinity Association of Self Help Groups where they have been able to empower women at the grassroots to run and manage over 1400 SHGs in and around Trichy. Affinity Association is an independent body and is closely monitored by New Life.

The operational area of the association includes Trichirappalli, Perambalur, Thanjavur, Karur, Pudukkotai, Cuddalore, Madurai,Dindigul and Nagapattinam Districts in Tamilnadu. There are 386 Revenue villages in these 9 districts covered under the ambit of services of the Association.
