No End in Sight
Kasthuri Subramanian and her husband are the typical old couple living on their own after their grown children have flown the coup for greener pastures. They used the loan to buy raw materials needed to make pots, during the festival season of Pongal. They managed to sell them all, but have received payment in kind - Grains. This has ensured that they have enough to eat for a long time but repayment of the loan still looms large before them. They still go out to find odd jobs on daily wages to take care of all their other needs. Back
