Why
Microcredit?
When we look back into our own lives we would realise that rough patches in business or education were easily overcome because of access to credit. We could walk in to a bank to avail a loan or use our credit card if needed.
What happens to people who do not have access to credit cards or even a bank loan for that matter?
Thanks to microcredit, many people from low income groups are gaining access to credit. At Rang De our attempt is to reach out to people who have not had the benefit of microcredit.
We work with a network of field partners who are small NGOs and Non- profit Microfinance institutions. We work in partnership to reach out to the underserved. Our field partners explore new geographies and new communities through the Rang De microloan.

Quick Facts on Microcredit:
- 80 percent of the world's population lacks access to credit (they can't get loans from banks).
- Micro-credit allows people in poverty to start a business and earn income to repay their loans, which will get them out of the poverty cycle.
