Rang De won the Bihar Innovation Forum award organised by JEEVIKA (Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society) of the Government of Bihar in recognition of its innovative work in the area of Financial Services. Supported by the World Bank, the Bihar Innovation
Forum is a one of a kind platform that aims to identify, celebrate and scale up rural livelihood innovations. The forum recognised innovators in 9 sectoral areas (Agriculture, Livestock, Non-Farm, Financial Services, Skill development, Access
to Services, Access to Entitlements, Energy and ICT).
Rang De was one of the 2013 Bangalore Heroes Award winners. A Times group initiative, the Bangalore Heroes Award recognizes individuals and organizations that stand for innovation, sustainability and impact. 6 out of the 24 nominees were adjudged as Bangalore

The World Bank
Rang De has been funded by the World Bank through Development Marketplace (DM). DM is a competitive grant programme that surfaces and funds innovative, development projects with high potential for development impact that are scalable and replicable. The
grant has been provided to Rang De to scale up operations and to deliver low-cost financial support to the most underserved low-income groups in Madhya Pradesh.
Millennium Alliance Award
Rang De won the 2013 Millennium Alliance Award. The MA is an inclusive platform to leverage Indian creativity, expertise, and resources to identify and scale innovative solutions being developed and tested in India to address development challenges that
will benefit base of the pyramid populations across India and the world. The MA is a network to bring together various actors within India's social innovation ecosystem including, but not limited to, social innovators, philanthropy organizations,
social venture capitalists, angel investors, donors, service providers, and corporate foundations, to stimulate and facilitate financial contributions from the private and public sectors and offer a range of support to innovators. Out of over
1,400 applications received, only 9 organisations won the prestigious award.
Ramakrishna N K, Co-founder and CEO at Rang De, was chosen for the Ashoka Fellowship in February 2012. Ashoka chooses its fellows from a list of leading social entrepreneurs. The selection criteria include entrepreneurial quality, a new idea, creativity,
social impact and ethical fibre.

The India Digital Award
Rang De won the 1st Runner's up award for Best Use of Internet for Social Good at the India Digital Awards 2012. The India Digital Award is constituted by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and awards are given
in recognition of innovation in the internet and mobile space.
Manthan South Asia Award
Rang De was adjudged winner of the Manthan South Asia Awards for 2011 under the E-inclusion category. Manthan Award is a first-of-its-kind initiative in India to recognise the best practices in e-content and creativity. All
countries in South Asia are invited to send in nominations for these awards.
The State of the Sector Report 2011
Rang De got coverage in the State of the Sector Report 2011. The State of the Sector (SOS) report was conceived with the idea of effectively tracking the state of the microfinance sector.
India Social Case Challenge 2
Rang De received a special mention in the India Social Case Challenge 2. Among all the corporate bigwigs that participated and among all the participants that included corporate giants, it was Rang De's World Cup Fever that won appreciation
from the jury. The India Social Case challenge aims to recognise the best use of social media to achieve a business objective.
