Neelavathi lives in a village in TamilnaduState and is one of the many women seeking to bring in a little bit of extra cash to contribute to the family. She sells goats when they mature but until that time happens, she takes good care of the animals living under her shelter. It is the simplest of trades that a woman with a limited education background can undertake in rural India. Neelavathi has been tending to goats for the past 8 years now. This social investment will ensure that this poor woman will be able to make multiple sales in the future and be able to bring in a decent sum that can go towards the family's medical, living, schooling and other expenditures.
