Boda Manjula is a 29-year-old widow from Machapur, a village in Warangal district. Her main source of income is from agricultural work. She has also opted to work under MGNREGA scheme, which guarantees wages for a certain period. Her living conditions are a pitiable sight. Due to unavailability of water at home, it is fetched from places as far as five kilometers away. The absence of a healthcare center compels the villagers to travel to nearby towns or cities for a medical emergency. Boda wishes to start grocery business for a better income. An extension in her home will be dedicated for this purpose. With an annual income of Rs. 40000/- and expenses coming around Rs. 25000/-, Boda finds it difficult to take the initial step towards her new venture. A financial assistance of Rs. 25000/- has been requested to purchase the essential commodities in bulk from wholesale agents.
Having gone through the adversities of life, Boda looks forward towards a better life.
