Shatharasi Padma from the Musthyalapalli village of the Warangal district of Telangana lives with her son and daughter who are studying. She lost her husband who was a victim of farmer suicide caused due to severe drought and loans which were taken from greedy money lenders resulting in huge loans including interest which he was unable to repay. Padma has managed the affairs of the family since then and did all kinds of manual labour to make sure that the family could be provided with their necessities. She was even determined that the education of her children were not hampered.
With the increased cost of maintaining the family, she wants to start a grocery store from the extension of her home. She would stock enough grocery, some non-perishable vegetables, oil, confectionery etc which would cater to the locals. This would help her earn a decent amount every month.
