Rang De (RangDe.org) is an award winning, technology driven non-profit social enterprise that supports rural entrepreneurs with access to low cost credit through its web-based peer-to- peer crowdfunding platform. Since January 2008, Rang De has reached out to around 60,000 entrepreneurs across 18 states with more than 14,000 individuals across the world having become Changemakers to fight poverty in India so far.

We are looking for an experienced Thought Leader in Finance to head the Finance team as a Chief Financial Officer or CFO. The candidate will overall be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance as well as negotiations. The CFO job description will also extend to obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance.

The goal is to protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

As the CFO of Rang De, your role would include:

  • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team
  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
  • Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group
  • Continually reviews work practices and procedures for better operational efficiency; and potential issues in accounts, financial processes and controls and proactively raise management attention to act and resolve
  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning

Key Skills:

  • University degree in accounting or with ACCA and a CA/CPA.
  • At least 7+ years of financial/project management/accounting experience within an international organization, multinational company, University or charity with complex donor requirements.

We at Rang De are looking for an experienced growth strategist to head our marketing and growth team.
