About Samridhdhi

Samridhdhi Trust runs no-fee bridge schools that provide basic education to out-of-school children of migrant labourers in a multilevel and multi lingual atmosphere. It currently works with more than 280 children across various slums in Bangalore. The children at these bridge schools are given classroom oriented education and then prepared and facilitated for their admission into mainstream English medium schools. Samridhdhi Trust started these school when they realized that children of migrant workers had different needs and capabilities. They are of various ages, speak different languages and come from various backgrounds. Instead of pushing them into government schools, Samridhdhi realized the need to set up “tailor made schools” that suit the diverse linguistic needs of children from various regions.
