Swabhimaan is an initiative which seeks to provide adaptive financial literacy and requisite skills to make informed financial choices. This initiative will make it possible for low-income communities to apply for and receive low-cost loans, at their own terms, with dignity and self-respect.
What is Swabhimaan?
Swabhimaan is a digital financial inclusion platform that provides adaptive financial literacy training to bring about long term behaviour change in financial management. Swabhimaan leverages technology and behaviour science to enable semi-literate and illiterate communities to make informed decisions about the financial products and services they would like to avail.
Why Swabhimaan?
Lack of access to information and knowledge among semi-literate and illiterate communities has resulted in communities becoming passive recipients of credit. Rang De aims to restore agency for financially excluded communities through a human-centric financial literacy program.
